Yes. Completely. Everything you share with Ash Rehab — about your drinking, your health, your personal circumstances — is treated as strictly confidential and handled in full compliance with UK GDPR.
Begin your assessmentWe send a clinical summary to your GP on completion of your programme — but only with your knowledge, and only unless you explicitly ask us not to. We discuss this during your initial assessment. GP notification is generally in your best clinical interests for ongoing care, but the decision is always yours.
Our nurses arrive in plain clothing and do not use identifiable vehicles or uniforms that would draw attention. We are sensitive to the fact that many of our patients wish to keep their treatment private from neighbours, colleagues, and in some cases, wider family. We take practical steps to support that.
Clinical note: This page describes Ash Rehab's approach to confidentiality. Our full Privacy Policy is available in the legal section of this website.

Your first assessment is a 25-minute video call with a GMC-registered prescriber. No waiting room, no clinic, no disclosure to anyone you have not chosen to tell. Four short questions, answered honestly, will tell us whether a home detox is the right setting for this moment in your life.
