Comprehensive clinical assessment
A prescribing doctor reviews your full drinking history, medical record, and home circumstances before any programme is initiated. Nothing proceeds without your consent and without clinical justification.
Prescriber oversight and medication management
Your named prescriber writes an individualised reducing regime and remains contactable throughout. Medication is reviewed and adjusted in response to your clinical picture — not a fixed protocol.
Structured home visits and withdrawal monitoring
A nurse attends daily — typically the same nurse — to administer medication, assess withdrawal severity using validated tools, and liaise directly with your prescriber.
Psychosocial interventions and relapse prevention
Clinical contact includes structured psychosocial support. Before discharge, we provide a written relapse-prevention plan and arrange appropriate pharmacological support where indicated.
Ongoing risk management and aftercare planning
We remain in contact for three months at no further charge, coordinate onward referrals where needed, and maintain a documented risk register throughout your care.

Home detox done properly means more than prescribing medication. It means named clinicians, daily oversight, a written record at every stage — and a team that remains with you beyond the programme.
Named prescriber, every time
Every patient is assigned a GMC-registered prescriber before the programme begins. That same doctor reviews your medication, adjusts your regime, and is contactable by phone throughout. You are never managed by a rota.
Daily nurse visits — same nurse
Your lead nurse attends every day of the active detox. Not a different face each morning — the same clinician who knows your history, your baseline, and what changed since yesterday. Continuity of care isn't optional here.
24-hour prescriber access
Alcohol withdrawal is unpredictable. If your condition changes at 2am, a prescriber is contactable — not a call handler, not a message service. Clinical support when it matters, not only during office hours.
Three months of structured aftercare
Before nurse visits end, we prepare a written aftercare and relapse-prevention plan. A prescriber remains available for three months after programme completion — at no additional charge. Getting sober is the start, not the finish.

Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment
Withdrawal severity is assessed daily using the validated CIWA-Ar scale. Medication dosing adjustments are made in direct response to scored observations.
GMC & NMC Regulation
Registered prescribers & nurses
Every prescriber holds current GMC registration with a licence to practise. Every nurse holds current NMC registration. Numbers are provided to patients on request before any programme begins.

Safeguarding Policy
Annually reviewed
A written safeguarding policy for adults and children is reviewed annually by our independent clinical governance committee. Our designated safeguarding lead holds current Level 3 training.

Not the conclusion.
Before nurse visits end, we prepare a written aftercare plan and arrange relapse-prevention medication where appropriate. A prescriber remains contactable for three months after your programme ends.
